Eve Valko
My love for animals has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. At just nine years old, I started my first dog walking business, and that early connection with pets grew into a lifelong calling.

Throughout high school, I worked at a boarding facility, gaining hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of pet care. But I always knew I wanted to offer more personalized, comforting care, especially for senior pets and those with anxiety or special needs. That vision became reality when I launched Simply Sandy Pet Services in 2020, built on a passion for helping both people and animals.

Over the years, I’ve strengthened my skills with certifications in dog training, pet CPR and first aid, and became a Certified Professional Pet Sitter through Pet Sitters International. I have experience working with animals of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments including those with medical or behavioral challenges.

Sandy
A resilient German Shepherd rescue with a gentle spirit, Sandy came into my life during a time of change and quickly became my rock, my shadow, and my reminder of why I do what I do.

Her calm, loyal nature and strong bond with people (and animals!) inspired the name and the mission behind this business. Sandy has been by my side through every step of this journey. From my early days on Rover to launching a full-time pet care service. She’s tested gear, posed for marketing photos, and comforted me on the hardest days.

Simply Sandy is built around her legacy: compassion, trust, and the belief that every pet deserves to feel safe and loved, just like Sandy does now.
Anthony Valko
My husband, Anthony, has always had a love for animals. Growing up with cats, dogs, and two beloved guinea pigs, Charlie and Freya, he developed a natural sense of care and responsibility that has only grown over the years. He especially loves caring for horses and farm animals, where he feels most at home outdoors, working hands-on. After we got met, he also discovered a love for big dogs, which has become another special part of his connection with animals.

While Anthony works full-time in the steel industry, he helps me with Simply Sandy Pet Services whenever he can. He isn’t a full-time team member, but he plays a huge role behind the scenes, handling tasks, projects, and the little things that help the business run smoothly. Clients love his calm presence, patience, and genuine kindness. His dedication, steady support, and love for animals make him an invaluable part of Simply Sandy Pet Services—and my life.
